Thanks to the Brummet family, we got 6 tickets to LegoLand California in Carlsbad. For Scotia and me, this was our first time to Legoland.

I've been learning/reading/playing with everything I can get my hands on that's Augmented Reality. Today, while organizing some of Ben's Lego kits, I saw a page with an AR Marker on it. I went to the URL listed under the marker and found that it didn't work, but a quick Google search got me back on the right track.

Ben and I decided today to build the Lego Boba Fett Slave I Ship (kit 8097). The Transporter included 573 pieces and we assembled it in about 1.5 hours. This was a really fun build and the ship has alot of very cool features including a gyroscope cockpit. Here is what Lego has to say about the Boba Fett Slave I Ship

Scotia and I have been talking about a theme/niche for our wedding. Turns out in the South they have something called a Grooms cake (they have it other places but Scotia talked about it like it's an everyday thing) who knew. So I was trying to think of something that represented me.
