My Murse

Hauling my stuff back and forth to work is sometimes a laborious process. Packing my MacBook Air and MacBook Pro into my old canvas messenger bag worked but I was fearful of damaging them and also the bag was kind of ugly.

I have been wanting USB power outlets for a few years now. Unfortunately, until recently a couple of specialty companies made them and the alternative was piecing one together with a dermal and a solder kit.

A little over a year ago I was asked by my dad to help him out with the RPOA.ORG site. The old site was something right out of 1993, and the company that had put it together made it as easy to edit as connecting to the internet back then...

When I started at TapIt, I knew what they did but when I tried to explain it to friends or family, they just gave me a confused look. I wanted to create something that said: "What does TapIt do?"

For the past few years people ask me what I would like for Christmas and I usually say whatever is fine. This year I actually said what I always wanted...

Lego

Thanks to the Brummet family, we got 6 tickets to LegoLand California in Carlsbad. For Scotia and me, this was our first time to Legoland.

Last week we were planning to spend the week in San Francisco for Thanksgiving. Our plan was to leave on Sunday and stay through the Saturday after the Thanksgiving. Good news came early and I got a call Friday afternoon from Tapit for a job interview.

I entered a drawing for some free Moo Cards over at WebDesign Tuts+ and I won! I recently redesigned my resume and wanted to get some new business cards to reflect my new branding.

With the regular season winding down I was reflecting on how the Coach It app could be improve. I mocked up a couple of screens with my thoughts on how the app could function differently.

The weather this week brought not only cold temperatures, rain and wind but also the flu for me. Unfortunately I also had soccer commitments since this weekend started the winter tournament.
