Coaching a soccer team has been great but as you can see it begins toencroach on my design work a bit. Tonight I wanted to use some paint splatter images that I found for a composition and all that came to mind was soccer cleats. I got my hands on a high resolution Adidas product shot and went to town working on masking the cleat. A couple weeks ago I had watched this video on Blip.tv that went into detail about Vector Masks in Photoshop. I utilized some of the techniques used in this video to get my initial mask then refined it with the brush tools. (Still wishing I had WON that Wacom Tablet on PSDtuts)

I really enjoyed working on this comp and I think should look great printed. I’m getting some Moo Cards and I wanted to have a few more designs for the backs.
